Since Job Crackle is an Indian company operating primarily from India, these Terms are governed by Indian laws and regulations. BY ACCESSING OR USING OUR SERVICE, YOU AGREE TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY THESE TERMS, WHETHER OR NOT YOU REGISTER FOR AN ACCOUNT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, YOU MUST DISCONTINUE USE IMMEDIATELY.
"AI Services" means our artificial intelligence-powered resume optimization, job matching, and related features.
"Content" means all text, data, information, software, graphics, or other materials.
"Job Data" means employment opportunities, job postings, and related information aggregated from various sources.
"Personal Data" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
"Subscription" means paid access to premium features including Pro and Ultra plans.
"User Content" means all content you submit, upload, or provide to our Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use our Service. If you are under 18, you may only use our Service with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.
To access certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this security obligation.
Job Crackle provides the following services to help you with your career:
Free Trial: Limited access with 10 AI resume optimizations and 3 LaTeX conversions
Pro Plan: 500 monthly requests, 100 LaTeX conversions, faster AI response times
Ultra Plan: 1000 monthly requests, 200 LaTeX conversions, live job alerts, priority support

Important: Use of AI features may be subject to additional terms of third-party providers (OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, NVIDIA). We are not responsible for any errors, outages, policy changes, or actions/omissions of these third-party providers. Users are also bound by the terms of service of these third-party providers.
You may not use the Service in violation of applicable export control laws or in jurisdictions where such use is restricted. You are solely responsible for compliance with local laws in your jurisdiction. If you are accessing the Service from outside India, you are responsible for compliance with local laws. Use of the Service does not subject Job Crackle to the laws or jurisdiction of any country other than India.
We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our Service with or without notice. As an Indian company, our primary support hours are during Indian Standard Time (IST).
Subscription fees are charged in advance on a monthly basis. Pricing varies by geographic location:
Payments are processed through Dodo Payments and other third-party payment processors. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your payment method.
NO REFUNDS: All subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. You may cancel your subscription at any time, but cancellation will not result in a refund of fees already paid.
Exceptions: In exceptional cases (e.g., double billing, system error), refunds may be processed at our sole discretion.
Consumer Rights: Certain jurisdictions may provide statutory rights that override these terms. Where applicable, those rights shall prevail.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before 48 hours of the renewal date. You may cancel by removing auto payments through your bank/wallet/card or by contacting support.
We reserve the right to modify subscription prices with Immediate notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing cycle but will apply to subsequent renewals.

Content generated by our AI services based on your input is provided to you under a non-exclusive license. We retain the right to use anonymized and aggregated data to improve our AI models.
We respect intellectual property rights and comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe your copyright has been infringed, please contact us with detailed information.
Strict Prohibition on Reverse Engineering and Source Code Extraction:

We aggregate job data from third-party sources and cannot guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. You should verify all job information independently before applying.
Our AI services are tools to assist with resume optimization and job matching. We do not guarantee employment outcomes or the accuracy of AI-generated content.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Job Crackle and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support or using account settings. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of prepaid fees.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for violation of these Terms, illegal activity, or other conduct that may harm our Service or other users.
Immediate Account Termination and No Refund Policy:
We reserve the right to immediately ban and terminate accounts for the following violations, with NO REFUND of any paid subscription fees:
Warning: Banned accounts will lose all access immediately and permanently. All subscription fees paid are forfeited with no possibility of refund or credit.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your account and data, though some information may be retained as required by law or our Privacy Policy.
Since Job Crackle is an Indian company, these Terms are primarily governed by the laws of India.All users, regardless of their location, agree that Indian law will apply to these Terms and any disputes arising from your use of our Service.
All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.By using our Service, you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of Indian courts for any legal matters.

Step 3: Any dispute not resolved informally shall be referred to binding arbitration in Bangalore, India, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The language of arbitration shall be English.

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights as a consumer under applicable Indian consumer protection laws. You may also approach consumer forums and other statutory authorities as per Indian law.

We comply with the provisions of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We also implement reasonable safeguards aligned with GDPR principles for international users. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your personal data to India and other jurisdictions where our processors operate.
We are subject to oversight by Indian regulatory authorities including the Data Protection Board of India, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), and other relevant Indian government bodies.

Job Crackle is a career support and AI-enabled resume optimization platform. We are not a recruitment agency and do not guarantee job placement, interview calls, or hiring outcomes. Job application and hiring decisions are at the sole discretion of employers. We provide tools and services to help improve your job search process, but employment outcomes depend on various factors beyond our control.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Job Crackle regarding the Service.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
We are not liable for any failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, embargoes, war, cyberattacks, government actions, internet failures, natural disasters, or terrorism.
